 | Just rewatching this again and I feel the need to thank you for inadvertently giving me an answer to something I've been wondering for a while. I somehow never saw the fire spitter in Hierarch Square before the next gen update - and by that point, I'd already played through the game at least 5 times and watched my partner play it several times before that, so it's not like I was new to Novigrad - so I wondered if he was new or if I'd just missed him. Now that I saw him in the background of your footage, I now know I just somehow missed the dude spitting fire into the air across multiple playthroughs. 😂 I love the conversation the two kids in front of him have about trying the act for themselves. Fingers crossed they either chicken out or someone responsible stops them before they can actually go through with it but I thought the dialogue had a very real feel to it. Kids have such a tendency to believe they can do anything. It's adorable and inspiring but also in scenarios like these, when they're sure to end up hurting themselves, downright terrifying.  | The twists and turns and different endings in quests kind of overwhelm me sometimes. I stopped playing a few years ago, partly because of that, and part the controls were annoying to me. Since they improved the controls, I am not playing through again. I think I got around to Novigrad, I am now getting close to that again. During Carnal Sins, after speaking with Joachim and examining the dead body, another guy comes in the room, Hubert, who later turns out to be the killer. In the French version, he is 100% voiced by the same man who did Gaunter’O Dimm. His voice is the exact same. I was wondering if it is by any chance the same in some other version.  | Going through another play through (too many to count now) and this little detail is behind the Var Attra estate. Always pick it up and read it and just assume it’s just some guy who committed suicide from unrequited love. But this time I paid more attention that it was addressed to Rosa. Then when you’re having your dialogue between the sisters you find that they’re always playing pranks on each other. Rosa makes the comment that Edna sent Dandelion a note as Rosa about how much she admires him and afterward Rosa had to fight off his advances. Did Edna pull the same type prank towards the body behind their estate? The cliff ledge is to short a drop to die from if he jumped. Perhaps he stalked Rosa and she had to carve him up with a sword since she’s sword trained? Since they are diplomats they had to cover up the scandal so a guard just dropped the body to the cliff ledge? Geralt makes the comment of “this is interesting” when he come upon the body. He doesn’t make that comment coming along all the bodies he finds strung across most of the world. He makes the same comment in Blood and Wine with the lesbian Bruxa discovery. Did the developers have more along the Var Attra lines that they wanted to explore but ran out of time?  | I’m not sure if there was any information about this in xLetalis’ videos and if it’s a rare thing but there is a gentleman slightly before the place where we meet Hattori at the docks. In my 6 play throughs he only appeared once when I went there in the early stages of the game before doing any novigrad quests. He asks Geralt to accompany him along the docks and Geralt has to fight a few thugs that try to attack him. | I don't like that the Netflix show has Dopplers knowing everything that the person to be copied knows. This is clearly NOT the case in the games, as the Doppler you convince to copy Mengle (?) doesn't have any of the latter's knowledge. This makes much more sense to me, too, since; A Doppler would copy the physical appearance, so that its surface features would change. Possibly even the same way that a chameleon or an octopus can change its appearance. However, for it to know everything that its "victim" knows, it would have to be able to exactly copy the brain of the "victim" and only then would it have all of the "victim's" knowledge. However, if it did this, then the Doppler would lose all the knowledge it had before it changed its brain structure. Whichever way you cut it, it seems impossible for a Doppler to be able to share the knowledge of the being that it copies, while the notion of physically copying it seems entirely feasible. Just like Joaquin Phoenix is pronounced "wuck-een fee-nix" Also, I don't know if you've already covered this in a video, but there are some beggars in Novigrad who, if you listen to their tale, will rattle-off a very Monty Python-esque dialogue; He talks about being an amputee or a leper or somesuch and then being healed by some miracle worker, which destroys his livelihood as a leprous/ amputee beggar.  | After 435+ hours and several playthroughs, I still discovered a new quest by accident today: the one about the spies' deaddrops around the city and their (rather uninteresting) chest in the sewers. I remembered hearing Geralt whisper "Strange..." while passing by a certain place in the city but until today I was never able to find the particular brick in the wall and thus start the mini quest. Which lead me to check online if many people know about it and find another one I missed while doing so, the "Tome entombed", while I was also quite certain I had extensively explored the whole sewers. This attention to detail still has to find its match in any other game and unfortunately, Cyberpunk is still far from that, yet.  | I found a neat NEW DETAIL you may have missed about NOVIGRAD/TRISS!!!! NEW DIALOGUE!! It has to do with the order in which you play three specific quest lines. A Matter of Life and Death, Cabaret, and Carnal Sins. First: Get to the point that you unlock Cabaret and A Matter of Life and Death Second: Follow Cabaret all the way through, DO NOT proceed with A Matter of Life or Death yet, you can still get the masks though. Then Pricilla gets Attacked, leading into Carnal Sins Third: Follow Carnal Sins through until you find out Patricia Veglebud is the next victim, then STOP, and go straight to Triss dressed in your mask.
